What I'm Loving Wednesday: Christmas Edition!

I honestly cannot believe that Christmas is in a mere THREE days!  Where in the world has this Christmas season gone?  My days of family functions are still ahead of me, but I've had a wonderful Christmas season so far.  I've gotten to decorate a house, fill a tree with special ornaments, and cook a big Christmas dinner for my man.  I've felt loved and blessed everyday of this beautiful season and I am so thrilled to get to spend some time with sweet family these next few days.
I'm linking up with sweet Jamie today to tell you what I'm loving about this fantastic Christmas season!

I'm loving that there are so many ways to give this holiday season.  This world may be far from perfect, but I'm so glad the Lord has called us to shine a light in this dark world.  Through great ministries like Operation Christmas Child, Compassion, and Holt International we can give gifts to those in need in honor of our family members.  There's no better way to shine Christ's light at Christmas than to give to those in need!

I love that I woke up this morning to my Mom baking Christmas goodies in the kitchen!  I can remember being little and watching her make fudge, turtles, trash, and cookies for her teacher friends and our neighbors.  Her Christmas snacks just bring back happy childhood memories for me and also remind me what a caring and thoughtful mother I have!

I'm loving that not feeling well as allowed me to do nothing but lay in bed this week!  Thanks to Netflix, I have been able to watch movie after movie instantly on my laptop! I love this is Christmas week and I have no obligations but to enjoy myself, so bring on the movies!  I might be sick of movies by the time January rolls around, but I'm loving it now!

I love that I started to fill a stocking for my parents last year.  They were surprised to see that Santa came to visit THEM last Christmas morning and I just knew that I had to continue the tradition.  You never get too old to enjoy a stocking full of goodies!

I'm loving this sweet guy.  He has put up with me when my attitude has been less than pretty this week and he continues to love me with patience and grace.  I'm so blessed to have such a great man in my life.  He has demonstrated the love of Christ to me too many times to count.  I'm so grateful for this sweet relationship we have!  I'm also the proud owner of a brand new iPhone 4 thanks to this guy!
Merry Christmas to you, babe!

There is nothing greater to love this Christmas week than the birthday of my sweet Savior.  Nothing about this Christmas season would be possible without Jesus Christ.  He's the reason we feel the love, experience the joy, receive the gifts, and cherish our families this time of year.  I love the messages of these songs.  It reminds me of the beautiful nature of Christ and the reason why His birth is so important to us.

I hope that you enjoy time with your sweet families this Christmas.  We all have so much to be thankful for and I hope that Christ gets all the glory this week.
Merry Christmas to you, friends!
