You're twenty-four today! I can't believe that this will be the fourth birthday Ive celebrated with you. Didn't we just have our first date yesterday? Where has the time gone? As I think back on the past few years I can't help but thank Jesus for bringing us to where we are now. We're a different couple than we were then and I couldn't be more thankful for that. We've grown up together. We've let go of our own wants and desires and picked up the Lord's instead. And babe, life is so much better that way. I'm overwhelmed when I think of everything the Lord has done in your life. He has been so incredibly faithful to you. I respect you for stepping up and filling the role God has called you to, and I know that you will continue to walk the path He has laid out for you. I'm so thankful for your leadership and your ability to stand up to me when I'm being a bit, ahem, strong willed. I have no doubt in my mind that you'll be a Godly leader in our home ready to lead me and our future family in the direction the Lord wants to take us. I can hardly believe that this is your last single birthday. Eat it up, bub. Your days are numbered. ;) Next year, you'll get to roll over in the bed and hear a whispered happy birthday.
