If there is one thing that has changed in my life over the past two years, specifically the last 6 months, is my desire to cheer on others. I feel like I've always been encouraging and supportive, but I've never really been passionate about helping other people make things happen. Well, all that HAS CHANGED. Now, it is one of the things that absolutely fires me up the most in life. (I can't post this without saying a huge THANK YOU to Jon Sharman Photography who believed in us, supported us, and spoke up for us as we started our business. It's because of how he served, loved, and encouraged us that I am even in the place I am today to serve and encourage others. Thank you, Jon!)
I love seeing the Lord begin to form big ideas in the hearts and minds of those around me. I love seeing people wrestle with the idea of starting a small business, or pursuing something they are passionate about, or seeing a need and trying to think of creative ways to meet them. I LOVE DREAMERS!!!! It's so wild that I'm even saying that since I have lived so very much of my life trying to fit into a little box and just do "normal" life. (I have about 50 blog posts I could write straight from that sentence... another story for another day!) But now... I just want to be freaking weird and bold and brave because how much was I doing for God living in my box? Not a whole lot, I'll tell you that.
So when a friend decides she might want to be a little weird, a little bold, and a little brave, you jump in head first into all her ideas. My friend Megan is so much more than a friend to me. We lived with her and her husband Phillip for 8 months while we built our house. 2 days after we moved in, we walk into the kitchen where she slid a pregnancy test across the bar. Positive. We got to be part of every single moment they experienced through pregnancy and bringing home their sweet baby girl, Teddie. I can't even begin to describe how much we love her. We all have a sweet bond and I'm so thankful for those 8 months the Lord allowed us to truly live in such close community. I can't wait to tell Teddie stories of how we lived with her Mommy and Daddy!
Meg is incredibly creative and talented when it comes to anything artistic. Anytime I need a chalkboard written... she's my girl! Give her a pen and a piece of paper and she creates magic. Over the course of a week she sent me some business ideas and you could just see the Lord working them out in her heart. She finally landed on an idea and I was sold. Her designs are funky and fun and perfect for Mamas who can't just pop into a boutique and find something they like! I'm so in love with all the designs that I've already seen (Valentine's Day is KILLER y'all!) and I cannot wait to have a babe to dress up!
Her shop, Along Came a Cub (because this is all for her new cub, Teddie!) is launching this week and she released the Christmas design just this morning! They will go on sale TOMORROW and I just can't wait for all my Mama friends to get their hands on these onesies and tee shirts!

ARE YOU DYING????? Seriously the cutest ever. And I'm so grateful for Kate Kubler for sharing her kiddos to be our models! It's been such a joy to help Meg get this business running and I've told her time and time again how big of a hit this will be. I think she's going to be overwhelmed in such a good way when these shirts go on sale tomorrow. I can't wait to celebrate with her!
