He is the God who Hears my Prayers

Some scripture for you to look up:

  • Psalm 18:6
  • Psalm 31:22
  • Psalm 145:19
  • Psalm 10:17
  • Psalm 34:15
  • Psalm 34:6
  • Psalm 107:19
  • Psalm 34:17
  • Psalm 107:6
  • Psalm 46:1
  • Psalm 9:9
  • Revelation 21:45

“In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried to my God for help; He heard my voice out of His temple, and my cry for help before Him came into His ears.” Psalm 18:6

“He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He will also hear their cry and will save them.” Psalm 145:19

“This poor man cried and the Lord heard Him, and saved him out of all his troubles.” Psalm 34:6

This was the very first attribute of God that I studied after we returned home without a babe and it was so comforting to my soul.  The Lord hears me.  HE HEARS ME. My cries to Him are not in vain, my grief is not unnoticed, my prayers for grace and strength and deliverance are heard.  What an incredible attribute to start our study of God.  He loves us as His children and He bends down to listen.  Not only does He listen, but He responds.  He’s our help in trouble, He’s our deliverance in distress, He’s our strength in grief.

Evaluate your walk with the Lord.  Do you cry out to Him, or do you first go to others? Is He is the One you turn to in your distress?  Pray through these scriptures and ask the Lord to reveal new things to your heart about Himself.
