Friday No. 13
HAPPY FRIDAY!!! I'm so excited that the weekend is here! So much has been going on around here over the past few weeks with one business launch yesterday (more about that below!) and a new branch of my photography business coming out in just a few weeks. I won't lie, I've been feeling a little frazzled this week as I try to figure out how to get all the things done, but I'm slowly getting there!
1. Holly & Co. launched on social media yesterday!
It's been almost a year since my sister and I decided we wanted to start an online boutique together and now we're finally ready to do it! We've got our first round of clothing items ready to be loaded in our shop and I'm truly so excited to share this with you. We are starting small, staying out of debt, and choosing each piece wisely. I'm in love with each of these items and I can't wait to show you in a few weeks! This has been a really fun project for my sister and I to do together and we're excited to see what the future holds for Holly & Co.! You can follow us on instagram here for updates on when our website will launch.
2. If you aren't listening to the Journeywomen podcast, you should be!
I haven't even finished the newest episode from this week and I already feel passionate about sharing it. Some RICH TRUTH is in this episode and it's so good. I had to stop listening because I was working on a few other things and felt like I really needed to not be distracted to finish this one. It's one of the best episodes!
3. Christmas in July was a hit!
This year we invited our families over for breakfast for dinner and we had the sweetest time. This is a tradition I enjoy so much and I can't wait to see how it grows and changes over the years. I hope it's something our kids always enjoy and look forward to each summer!
4. I'm a new Trello user!
Does anyone here use Trello? I am letting go of the paper planner this academic year and trying something new. I've been doing some research on Trello over the past couple of weeks and I think it could be huge in keeping my whole entire life organized. Ha!
5. The new Crew + Co. cards are out!
Crew + Co. is one of favorite resources for incorporating scripture in our family. She has awesome yearly scripture cards, advent cards, and easter cards! It's a simple but meaningful way to talk about scripture with kids and I just love them. She just released her Spanish set and I'm SO excited to use them in our family! I would love how to learn to say each of these verses and I hope one day it's something that Campbell sees as a way that his Mama is striving to honor him.
That's all for today, y'all! I hope that you have a sweet and restful weekend!
