A Toddler Library
We are big book lovers in the Cole household. We've been reading to Campbell and Crawford since they were newborns and now one of their favorite things to do is to pick out a book for me to read to them. They love playing at the library and it's been so great for us to rotate our books and have new books to read without having to buy them all the time! I've been keeping a list of some books that I would eventually like to have in our playroom when we move and I thought it might be something y'all would be interested in!
Pout Pout Fish
This is one of Campbell and Crawford's favorite book characters! We've been reading this to them since they were tiny and it's one they love and pull out for us to read almost daily. We have Happy Easter, Pout Pout Fish, The Not Very Merry Pout Pout Fish, and Hide and Seek Pout Pout Fish along with the original Pout Pout Fish.
There are a handful of other books about Pout Pout that I would love to add to the kids library, especially the holiday themed one that would be GREAT for little holiday gifts!
The Pout Pout Fish Workbook this will be SO GREAT when they get a little bigger and we start practicing letters!
The Pout Pout Fish Far From Home
Trick or Treat, Pout Pout Fish
The Pout Pout Fish Undersea Alphabet This is a great option for textile learners!
The Pout Pout Fish and the Bully Bully Shark
The Pout Pout Fish and the Can't Sleep Blues This one comes out at the end of the month!
The Pout Pout Fish Goes to School
Sweet Dreams, Pout Pout Fish
Eric Carle
Another favorite in our family is Brown Bear, Brown Bear What do You See? It actually might be the favorite over Pout Pout fish these days! I love Eric Carle books because of the colors and a lot of them have repetition that's especially good for Campbell, but CG loves it too!
Here are a few other Carle books that we have or want to add:
The Very Hungry Caterpillar's ABCs
Eric Carle's Book of Many Things
Indestructables
I only discovered these books a few weeks ago and I think it's the most brilliant idea EVER! These books still feel like paper but they're completely rip proof and can be washed! Ideal book for little people. We bought a couple a few weeks ago (like this cute food one), but they have a lot of great options!
Some Wildcard Options
Here are a few fun books that don't fit in with a specific theme, but that I think would be a great addition to a toddler library!
The Empowerment Series
The illustrations in this series looks really sweet and I love the themes of each book!
Now I Am Big
Baby Believer
We actually only have this counting primer book, but I know I would love every single book from this Baby Believer series. We will add all of them to our library at some point!
Holy Week: An Emotions Primer This is coming out early next year!
Let There Be Light: An Opposites Primer
From Eden to Bethlehem: An Animal Primer This is coming out later this year!
Psalms of Praise: A Movement Primer
Other Gospel Centered Books
Here's a couple more Gospel centered books that we either have or want to add!
The Biggest Story: ABC
The Garden, the Curtain, and the Cross
As you can see... we have a very large list! Ha! If you have kids or work with kids or just enjoy children's book I would LOVE to know the books on your list!
